My painting Escape from my Architectural Series was selected by Susan O’Neill for the National Juried Art Show Out of the Blue presented by Gallery Underground, Arlington, VA.

Escape is one of the three paintings I’ve done with abstracted architectural forms where blues dominate the foreground and warmer colors are pushed to the background. This reverses the academic notion of warm colors in front and cold colors in the horizon and creates an unexpected composition that works well as a color field painting.
