I was deeply honored to be selected for a solo exhibition at the prestigious IA&A at Hillyer in DC. This selection, chosen from hundreds of competitive local and international proposals, was a significant professional affirmation of my artistic direction, particularly following the well-attended opening reception, which garnered many compliments from art lovers and fellow artists.
The exhibition featured works (created between late 2023 and February 2026) from my Baroque series, inspired by the dynamism and grandeur of Western Baroque and the rich traditions of Eastern miniatures that I have studied since childhood. These paintings are intentionally theatrical. I establish the “stage” through chromatic harmony and movement, inviting you, the viewer, to step into the scene and complete the narrative.
