Chroma Terra from my Colorfield series was selected by Andrei Kushnir, the independent juror of the month, for the June 2025 Landscape Exhibit at The Art League, Alexandria, VA.

About my art:

In the Landscape collection within my Colorfield series, I overlay lines and grids with slight or intense color shifts from the background color fields to explore and expand the chromatic push-and-pull. This particular work is a hybrid digital-analog painting, some of the composition created digitally, printed on watercolor art paper, mounted on wood and painted and sketched over with ink and acrylic markers. In doing so, I achieve color combinations that are not possible with a single medium. The other characteristic of this painting is bending the perspective in a flattened sphere format (think of a flattened hemisphere map)—something I was experimenting with for the first time.
