About Eclosion:
One of my Braoque series, I created this painting to explore the concept of emergence amidst falling. The figure within it represents a state of transition. Forms extending from the figure’s back suggest a development, a breaking free. I positioned the figure in a recline, a posture often associated with rest or contemplation, but here, it indicates the moment of change itself.
The environment around the figure is constructed with geometric planes and lines. I used these elements to define the space and provide a structure that both contains and allows for the unfolding event. The color variations within these planes and on the emerging forms indicate shifts in light and atmosphere. Through this work, I aimed to present a visual representation of the internal and external processes involved in a significant transformation.
