The Pursuit of Happiness from my Baroque series was selected for Strathmore’s 33rd Annual Juried Exhibition: Full Circle.
The historic Mansion, located near The Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, MD, presents exhibitions featuring local, national, and international artists. Its annual juried exhibits are one of the DC area’s well-thought-of art venues, and I am truly excited to be part of this.

Concept:
The Pursuit of Happiness, 48×36″ acrylic on canvas, is an intuitive abstract painting using geometrical and organic forms as color fields to express different feelings, pursuing happiness despite the pain and embracing the imperfections and tilts that throw the balance out—the innocence that is forgotten.
