I am excited to announce that Moonrack from my Architectural series has been selected for The Art League’s October 2026 Open Exhibit by the independent juror, Paul Sattler.
About the Artwork
One of the Blue collection within my Architectural series, Moonrack is an imaginary scenery combining a structurally impossible construction over water, a full moon, thunderbolts, and pristine versus corroded surfaces—serving as color fields and ultimately achieving a chromatic experience. I have taken numerous photographic studies of surfaces near water at different times of day, digitally altered and combined them with my analog sketches, and then pigment-printed them on watercolor-type archival paper. I then worked on the print with watercolor, ink, and pastel, making it unique and not an edition. This painting comes with a slim silver metal floater frame.
