“Dystopia”, 36×36″ mixed media on canvas was selected by Erika Harrsch the juror of the Art League May 2019 show (see location below). It is result of abstracting human figure—male model with short poses—drawing by pouring paint with disengaged mind from a place of feeling and not thinking. I select a title for each painting after I complete the process depending on the mood it evokes (not necessarily the mood I paint in). This painting evoke a strange fear of uncertainty in me and others who looked at it—not too unfamiliar to us all these days. But also a big sense of hope.
